1.1. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter — the Policy) is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Use of the CarBuy.az Platform (hereinafter — the Platform).
1.2. The Policy defines the procedure for collecting, storing, processing, using, disclosing, and protecting personal and other data of the Platform participants.
1.3. The Platform is intended for use by official dealers, car showrooms, and persons engaged in vehicle resale. Posting advertisements and using the Platform’s services constitutes full acceptance of this Policy.
1.4. The owner of the database is CarBuy.az. The database is hosted on secure servers.
1.5. The Platform collects data in the following cases:
• registration and verification of a dealer/car showroom;
• posting of an advertisement;
• use of analytical and reporting tools;
• correspondence or other forms of interaction with the Platform.

2.1. Data is collected and processed for the following purposes:
• ensuring the operation of the Platform and fulfilling obligations to participants;
• improving services, functionality, and user experience;
• providing users with up-to-date information on the market;
• conducting analytics on demand and vehicle condition, identifying in-demand models and brands;
• preparing statistical reports;
• preparing recommendations on which brands and models are reasonable for investment;
• preventing and addressing violations of the Terms of Use and applicable laws;
• complying with the requirements of applicable legislation.

3.1. Technical information about vehicles (brand, model, year of manufacture, mileage, condition, configuration, price, “available” or “on order” status), as well as statistical data on sales and demand, is not considered personal data of individuals under personal data protection legislation.
3.2. The Platform has the right to process, store, and use such information without obtaining separate consent from individuals, including sharing it with partners and using it for analytical purposes.

4.1. The Platform may process the following categories of data:
• registration data (company name, tax ID/VÖEN, legal address, full name of contact person, passport details, phone, email);
• vehicle information (brand, model, year, technical condition, mileage, configuration, price, “available” or “on order” status);
• vehicle photographs;
• technical data during Platform use (IP address, cookies, device and browser parameters, log files);
• statistical data on views and responses to advertisements.

5.1. Data may be used for the following purposes:
• displaying information in advertisements;
• generating ratings, analytical summaries, and forecasts;
• providing dealers/partners with market insights;
• preparing recommendations on which brands and models are reasonable for investment;
• personalizing offers and notifications;
